Description:
Sitting on a dome shape body, which is painted in cream and has a brown spout, is a Moche chief, staring upwards with wide open eyes, as if in a trance. His legs are crossed and his hands are resting on his knees. He is wearing a headdress with a large sun disc; the headband has a central decoration in the shape of the head of a bat. His face is painted with a moustache and goatee, his body is decorated with intricate geometric patterns.
