Description:
A fragment of bas relief detailing the right hand side profile of the head and the upper chest of a man. The figure is depicted wearing a close fitting wig and sash across his chest from left to right, implying that he may be a priest.
From an upper register of the scene a coil hangs above the man’s head, possibly suggesting that this is part of a hunting or rope making scene.
Probably from the Upper Egyptian necropolis of Asasif on the West Bank of the Nile near Luxor.
