Description:
This is a shabti with a lovely warm turquoise-blue colour. There is a single column of text on the front, the remainder of the inscription is on the back pillar. The text gives the name of the owner: Djedkhonsuiuefankh (Dd xnsw iw=f anx), as well as that of his mother, possibly reading Paestjau(emawy?)mut (pA=s TAw (m awy) Mwt). Mounted on an old collection base.

Condition:
Intact with some minor discolouring and encrustation as visible on the photographs; the only damage (a few minor chips) is not on the shabti but on the modern base, on which the object was mounted long ago. Lovely colour!
