Description:
A wonderful and highly detailed lamp. The body has the shape of the head of a Nubian, with all the features well marked. His hair is shown in tight, round curls. His brow is furrowed, which gives him a rather angry look. The nozzle of the lamp projects from his open mouth. There is a circular filling hole at the top of his head, with a hinged round cover, decorated with hair. The cover can still be opened. A ring handle is attached to the back of the head, its upper portion framed by a palmette. The circular base shows concentric moldings.
